CDL Driver

Position Purpose

The CDL Driver at SRS ensures safety, timely delivery of building materials to job sites, verifies inventory, follows safety protocols, and maintains high service standards. This role supports operational efficiency and fosters strong customer relationships through professionalism, teamwork, and responsiveness.

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, verify inventory accuracy, and ensure secure, damage‑free deliveries.
• Assess job site conditions to prevent hazards, collaborate with customers for material placement, and document deliveries with photos per company policy.
• Load and unload materials using forklifts or manually, working in varied weather and noisy environments, and read job‑related documents in English.
• Drive long hours and handle materials up to 100lbs. Work within a 200‑mile radius without overnight stays.

• Valid CDL Class A or B with air‑brakes endorsement and a clean driving record.
• 1–2 years of relevant commercial driving experience.
• Physically capable of long hours driving, handling materials, and working in varied weather conditions.
• Must be 18+ (21 for interstate/hazmat), pass background checks, drug tests, and comply with E‑Verify and FMCSA clearance.
• English reading and communication skills.

• Hazmat endorsement.
• Strong vehicle maintenance skills.
• Experience with multi‑drop deliveries and fleet management systems.
• Multilingual abilities.
• Commitment to continuous improvement.

• Current DOT Medical Certificate.
• Forklift certification (preferred).
• FMCSA Registration.
