Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at North Lake Care Center in Lake Park, Florida. As a Per Diem Occupational Therapist with our organization, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents, helping them to maintain their independence and achieve their optimal level of function and well-being.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat residents with physical, sensory, and cognitive impairments to facilitate optimal independence and functioning
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet each resident's unique needs and goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care and communication
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident assessments, treatment plans, and progress
- Participate in staff development and training programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
- Provide education and support to residents, families, and caregivers to promote optimal health and well-being
- Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Florida
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute or sub-acute care setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with residents, families, and team members
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents as needed
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and address resident needs
