LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a fast‑growing, family‑owned construction materials company in Lake Park, FL to hire a Credit Manager
. This is a hands‑on, operational leadership role supporting a high‑volume credit and accounts receivable environment.
We are seeking candidates with strong construction / building materials / manufacturing credit experience
, including credit approvals, terms setting, lien law, and Notice to Owner (NTO) processing
.
- Own the credit function for ~3,000 active customers in a high‑volume operational environment
- Define, evaluate, and approve credit terms, limits, and exposure
- Manage DSO, aging, and past‑due collections
, ensuring effective dispute resolution - Utilize legal tools including Notice to Owner (NTO), bond claims, lien filings, releases, and satisfactions
- Lead and develop a 6–7 person Credit/AR team across multiple Florida locations
- Partner closely with Sales, Cash Applications, AR, Operations, and Finance leadership
- Oversee job‑site–related billing issues and contractor credit processes
- Support an ongoing ERP transition (IFS Cloud) and drive process improvements
- Ensure compliance with company credit policies, risk standards, and state lien laws
- Strong background in construction, building materials, precast, distribution, or manufacturing credit (required)
- Proven experience managing a high‑volume AR/credit portfolio
- Experience with NTOs, liens, bond claims, and job‑site billing
- Ability to set credit terms, approve accounts, and manage risk exposure
- Prior leadership of a credit or AR team (5+ direct reports preferred)
- ERP experience required; experience supporting a system migration is a plus
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to “speak up” and partner cross‑functionally
- Highly hands‑on, operational, and comfortable working onsite daily
- Base salary: $90,000–$110,000 (depending on experience)
- Bonus: Discretionary annual bonus

- Schedule: Onsite, Monday–Friday, with occasional flexibility for life events
