LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a highly stable, privately held organization headquartered in Lake Park, FL to hire a Director of Credit
. This is a long‑term succession role
, replacing a retiring leader, with a strong focus on runway, ownership, and scale
.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned credit leader who has owned credit and accounts receivable at a mid‑to‑large organization and is seeking a long‑term home to grow with a business over the next decade and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the end‑to‑end Credit and AR function
    , including policy, terms, exposure, and risk management
  • Provide leadership over credit approvals, limits, and customer exposure across a complex customer base
  • Oversee DSO, aging, bad debt, and collections strategy
    , partnering closely with Sales and Operations
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a Credit/AR team in a hands‑on, operational environment
  • Serve as a key partner to Finance leadership
    , supporting month‑end close, forecasting, and executive reporting
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements
    , including ERP initiatives
  • Support a growing organization currently around $500M in revenue
    , with a strategic path toward $1B+
Qualifications
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in Credit leadership
  • Demonstrated ownership of credit policy, terms, and exposure at a $300M+ organization
  • Experience leading Credit/AR teams in complex, multi‑customer environments
  • Strong track record of career stability and long tenures (runway is a top priority)
  • Comfortable operating in a hands‑on, onsite leadership role
  • ERP experience required; system implementation or transformation experience is a plus
  • Industry background is flexible —
    credit ownership and scale matter most
  • Base salary up to ~$150,000
    , depending on experience
  • 15% annual bonus
  • Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate
