We’re searching for a Student Pastor
FBCW is searching for a relational and development-driven Student Pastor who is passionate about seeing middle school and high school students discover, celebrate, apply, and extend the gospel in the greater Woodbridge community and beyond. This role involves investing and developing leaders to meet students’ needs and foster their spiritual growth, leading at mid-week Momentum, discipling students in their faith journey, and placing intentional effort in reaching and connecting with students in the community for Christ.
Reporting to the Executive Pastor, the Student Pastor will serve as a member of the Ministry Lead Team working collaboratively with other pastors and ministry directors in providing spiritual leadership.
Student Ministry (Grades 7-12)
Our mission is that all students DISCOVER who God is, how much He loves them, and that He has a plan for their lives. We strive to partner with parents and students to equip and encourage them to DEEPEN their relationship with Jesus, to DO acts of service to bring God glory, and to be a DISCIPLE who makes disciples.
- Bible Fellowship Groups (BFGs) – Our students meet on Sunday mornings (on-campus; enrollment of 220 students including leaders) and evenings (this year on-campus) for a time of fellowship and study, led by a team of incredible adult leaders.
- Mid-Week Momentum – On Wednesday evenings in the Student Center, students gather for a time of worship through singing led by the student worship team, and a message from God's word. This is a great time for students to pause in the middle of the week to focus their hearts on God by worshiping alongside their peers and being mentored by adult leaders in small group discussion.
