  • Collaborate closely with teachers, caregivers, and medical teams to support patient progress and ensure continuity of care
  • Monitor patient progress through regular evaluations and adjust therapy strategies accordingly
  • Educate families about speech development milestones, therapeutic techniques, and home practice activities
  • Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, and patient outcomes in compliance with healthcare standards
Skills
  • Proven experience working with children in school or clinical settings
  • Strong knowledge of pediatrics, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to speech and swallowing disorders
  • Skilled in patient assessment techniques to accurately diagnose communication challenges
  • Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to working with young clients and their families
  • Ability to design engaging therapy activities that promote early intervention and developmental progress
  • Familiarity with school-based programs and early intervention services is highly desirable
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educate caregivers
