As a Security Officer - Part-Time Manufacturing Patrol in Ronkonkoma, NY
, you will serve and safeguard clients in Manufacturing and Industrial sectors and more. You can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents.

You will report concerns, support access and visitor activity, and deliver strong customer service through clear communication.

Pay Rate: $19.07 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Wed 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM;
Sat 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access by verifying identification and/or authorization for employees, contractors, and visitors, and direct arrivals to the appropriate check-in and documentation process.
• Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
