Part time Specialist Biotechnology Program

Founded in 1986, St. Charles Community College (SCC) has areputation as one of the best two-year colleges in the state of Missouri. SCC's service area includes a six-county region with a population exceeding 540,000. SCC's main campus, located in Cottleville, has won architectural awards for its innovative,contemporary design. The ideal candidate will build strong K-12 connections with a focus on SCC's service-area school districts in St. Charles, Warren, Lincoln, Pike, Montgomery, and Callaway counties, and be knowledgeable about biotechnology and/or STEM fields in general.

• Maintain database of science educators across Missouri
• Attend PLTW showcases, science fairs, and other STEM-related or industry-aligned events
• Assist with dissemination of information about SCC's biotechnology program, careers, jobs, and SCC resources to teachers and students
• Maintain communication with Advisory Board members, particularly K-12 partners
• Provide logistical support for field trips, networking events, and panel discussions
• Provide logistical support for educator-training workshops

Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.
