Job description- Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent, with 10+ years of overall IT experience.
- Must be a strong Python developer with deep Airflow expertise required to optimize workflows, support application teams, and ensure efficient DAG development.
- The Airflow Dev Ops Engineer plays a critical role in designing, maintaining, and optimizing data‑driven workflows that power key business operations.
- This role centers on building and enhancing pipelines using Apache Airflow, ensuring high reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency across the organization.
- By combining strong technical expertise with an understanding of business processes, the engineer supports both day‑to‑day orchestration needs and long‑term strategic initiatives.
- This requires a blend of Dev Ops practices, automation skills, and data workflow management to drive continuous improvement and enable informed decision making.
- The ideal candidate should understand core Airflow concepts, including dynamic DAG generation, and be capable of identifying inefficiencies within existing systems to drive meaningful improvements. While familiarity with CI/CD processes is expected, advanced specialization is not required.
- In addition to development responsibilities, the role also involves assisting application teams and contributing to Airflow cluster administration.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns, with a high level of focus and attention to detail.
