Lake Station Community Schools invites candidates to join Edison Junior–Senior High School as a Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Teacher.
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree
- License from Indiana Department of Education covering instruction of PLTW for the 2019‑2020 school year (or eligible to obtain)
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, staff, and administration
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Preferred: PLTW qualification – PLTW Gateway (grades 6‑8) or PLTW Computer Science (grades 9‑12)
Salary and benefits are commensurate with professional preparation and teaching experience per the Board of School Trustees schedule. Full‑time position, 183 days; starting salary $39,500 (may increase following new 2019‑2020 agreement).
