Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, preferred.
  • Possess or be eligible to possess an Indiana License in guidance and counseling all grades but minimally in grades 6-12, preferred.
  • Possess the ability to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, staff and administration.
  • Have good written and oral communication skills.
  • Familiar with developing a master school schedule and scheduling of students, preferred.
  • Familiar with the IDOE Graduation Pathways requirements.
  • Must understand and have respect for confidentiality of information.
  • Salary & Benefits

    The salary and benefits of the Guidance Counselor position will be commensurate with professional preparation and successful teaching experience according to the salary and benefit schedule adopted by the Board of School Trustees. Full time position, 190 days.

    Selection Process
