Ampersand Therapy is hiring compassionate and collaborative School Social Workers for the 2025–2026 school year. These are in‑person roles with full‑time or part‑time options available, based at a single elementary school site.

Schedule: Full‑Time or Part‑Time
Location: In‑person, 2 building assignment‑ time split evenly betweem the 2
Start Date: August 2025
Service Area: IEP support, social‑emotional services, team collaboration

• Provide direct support to students with social‑emotional and behavioral needs
• Serve as a key member of the IEP and special education team
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
• Maintain accurate documentation and IEP minutes
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and specialists
• Participate in staff meetings and school‑wide initiatives

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)
• Valid Illinois PEL with a School Social Work endorsement
• Experience in school settings or with special education services is a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Bilingual in Spanish is a huge plus (but not required)
