DescriptionAre you looking for meaningful work that provides you rich fulfillment? To be part of a close‑knit team? One Hope United’s residential care program provides a range of quality services to adolescents in foster care. Youth entering residential care are traumatized and sometimes in crisis.
As a Youth Care Worker in our residential program, you are a part of a team that provides a range of mental health services to our youth.
- Provide supervision for the youth in their residential home.
- Train, model, and build skills for the youth.
- Deliver individual and group instruction to teach youth skills in daily living, recreational activities, socialization, and independent living.
- Empower youth toward the goals outlined in their Individual Treatment Plans and the OHU Residential Program Plans.
- Gain certification in the Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) approved behavior modification program.
- Support the youth’s growth and development.
- Provide care and treatment that is strength‑based, trauma‑informed, and person‑centered.
- Up to 4 weeks of paid vacation days, 6 paid personal days, and 5 paid sick days annually.

You will need a high school diploma or GED.
Contract Required Age: 21‑years‑old according to contract requirements.
Experience1–3 years of human services experience preferred.
Qualifications PreferredHigh School Diploma or better in General Studies.
