Position SummaryResponsible for providing leadership and management of the human, material and financial resources of the assigned department, ensuring that department operations align with the goals and objectives of LRH. Consistently achieves the expected results at the appropriate level as outlined in LRH’s leadership competencies.

- Know and adhere to organizational and department policies and procedures.
- Diagnose patients by evaluating symptoms and determining the physical ailment.
- Prescribe medications based on patient health condition and medical history.
- Advise patients on compliance to therapeutic regimens and risk factors.
- Promote and participate in activities that demonstrate the achievement of patient, customer, and employee safety and satisfaction.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills; work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient wellbeing and promote optimum outcomes.
- Provide patients, families, and other team members with relevant healthcare education and instructions.
- Provide scope of services within field of training/specialty, including diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care and health maintenance.
- Actively participate in team development, achieving dashboards, and in accomplishing department goals and objectives.
- Manage human, material and financial resources so that department goals and objectives are achieved, including department specific and organizational dashboard measures and corporate priorities.
- Strong planning and organization, critical thinking and decision‑making skills.
- Strong leadership and coaching/staff development skills.
- Adherence to the highest standards of medical practice, ethics, and professionalism at all times.
- Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures, and techniques.
- Thorough knowledge of pharmacological agents used in patient treatment.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Maintain affiliation with professional groups, medical associations, and medical organizations based on specialty.
- Master’s Degree.
- MD, DO, graduate from an accredited medical school.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
- Current Florida State License.
- Board certified/eligible.
