About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team. As a PTA, you will work closely with our physical therapists to provide high-quality rehabilitation services to our residents. Your expertise will help our residents regain strength, mobility, and independence, ultimately improving their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities
Assist physical therapists with treatment plans and interventions
Perform physical therapy modalities and exercises
Conduct daily assessments and treat residents as needed
Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient care and treatment
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized care plans
Requirements
Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant studies
Current Florida Physical Therapy Assistant license
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Compassion, empathy, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care
