We are seeking a Utility Steward to join our team. As a key member of the Eau Resort & Spa team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort.

Role Summary:

The Utility Steward will be responsible for completing special cleaning projects as assigned, following hotel specifications and standards. Includes cleaning and maintaining equipment and dishwashing/kitchen/cafeteria/compactor/storage areas, while assisting in other stewarding functions as assigned.

We have a full-time position available. This role is a P.M. position, and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays and nights.

Work Schedule: 5:00 P.M. to 1:00 A.M.

Essential

Qualifications:

• Ability to satisfactorily communicate in job-related English.
• Ability to count.

Desirable:

• High school graduate or equivalent vocational training.
• Previous experience in janitorial/cleaning position.
• Familiarity with proper sanitation regulations.
• Certification in sanitation.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Ability to communicate in a foreign language - Creole or Spanish.
