Landscape Production Manager
Lead Operations for a Fast-Growing Commercial Landscape Company Are you a hands-on landscape leader who thrives on developing teams, delivering exceptional quality, and keeping operations running efficiently? Our client, a rapidly growing commercial landscape maintenance company serving South Florida, is seeking an experienced Landscape Production Manager to oversee daily field operations and ensure best-in-class service for HOA, multifamily, commercial, municipal, and institutional properties.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated operations professional who enjoys leading crews, building strong client relationships, and making a measurable impact in a high-growth environment. Typical responsibilities for similar roles include supervising maintenance crews, coordinating schedules, ensuring quality standards, and partnering with account managers to exceed client expectations.
What You'll Do
- Lead and oversee multiple landscape maintenance crews and field supervisors.
- Manage daily scheduling, routing, staffing, and production priorities to maximize efficiency.
- Conduct routine property inspections to ensure work meets company quality standards.
- Coach, mentor, and develop crew leaders and employees through regular feedback and training.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
- Coordinate labor, equipment, and plant materials to meet service commitments.
- Partner with Account Managers to address client requests proactively and identify enhancement opportunities.
- Monitor labor hours, production metrics, and job profitability while controlling costs.
- Perform quality assurance visits and quickly resolve service issues.
- Oversee equipment utilization and maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial landscape maintenance experience.
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing crews, foremen, or operations.
- Landscape maintenance best practices Turf management Shrub and tree care Fertilization and pruning
- Proven ability to lead multiple crews across numerous properties simultaneously.
- Experience managing labor productivity and operational budgets.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in South Florida conditions and occasionally outside normal business hours.
- Preferred Experience
- Experience with commercial properties such as HOAs, office parks, municipalities, industrial facilities, or retail centers.
- Familiarity with landscape management software or CRMs.
- Horticulture certifications, pesticide licenses, or industry credentials are a plus.
- Experience leading rapid-growth operations and implementing process improvements.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.
