Licensed Nurse

Nursing Staff Position

Archstone Behavioral Health is a treatment center that provides caring treatment to those suffering from Mental Health and Substance Misuse disorders seeking help.

The nursing staff is responsible for the day-to-day nursing services provided to all patients admitted to the facility. This includes intake, assessment, vital signs, medication management, and general health care education.

Requirements:

• Nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Must have a minimum of 2-4 years' experience as a nurse in a behavioral & substance abuse, or mental health setting.
• Valid RN/LPN license
• CPR certification - must have at the time of hire

Responsibilities:

• Complete nursing intake and assessment.
• Monitor patient's vital signs as ordered or per protocol.
• Maintain medication cart in order and locked at all times
• Dispense medications as ordered. Monitor and document all medication activity. Keep medication administration record (MAR) up to date.
• Complete incident report for any unusual or adverse event including medication errors and medication reactions.
• Other duties as required to address operational needs.
• Assist with additional tasks as requested by Leadership.
