We are seeking a Food Runner to join our team. As a key member of the Eau Resort & Spa team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort.

Role Summary:

The Stir Food Runner will be for servicing guests, assisting with functions of server, and delivering food to guest tables according to hotel specification, courteously and efficiently. This role will also assist in the maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment, while providing lateral service when necessary.

We have a full-time position available. The role is a A.M. position, and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, and day shifts.

This role is designated for our restaurant, Stir.

Essential

Qualifications:

• Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.
• Ability to provide legible communication.
• Be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.

Essential

Skills:

• Ability to understand guest's service needs.
• Ability to be well organized, maintain concentration and think clearly when providing service several guests within any given period of time.
• Transport food items to the bar, dining room in timely manner and also to the lounge as needed.
• Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
• Ability to check the food chit and serve food to guests without asking.
• Maintain complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers, room capacity, hours of operation, proper table set up and dress code of restaurant.
• Expedite any food items coming out from the exhibition kitchen line and the heart of the house.
• Be sure to inspect to chinaware for cleanliness (i.e., Finger smudges, spots and sauce spills).
• Deliver food items to table in a timely manner.
• Present food to the guests with correct items without asking.
• The bar glasses should be transported to the bar in a timely manner.
• Transport any dirty dishes through the dummy waiter from the bar.
