We are seeking an Electrician to join our Engineering team. As a key member of the Eau Resort & Spa team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort.

Role Summary:

The Electrician will repair and maintain all hotel electrical systems and install additional electrical devices and portable power set-ups. The ideal candidate will exemplify the philosophy and mission of Eau Resort & Spa.

We have a full-time position available. This role is a flexible position (AM / PM), and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights.

Work Schedule Needed:
Sunday - Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Essential

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. and vocational/technical background.
• 2+ years commercial electrical experience.
• Knowledge of electrical codes.
• Ability to communicate in English with hotel guests, visitors and staff to their understanding.
• Ability to provide legible communication.
• Ability to compute mathematical calculations.

Desirable:

• Mechanical experience.
• State, County and City licenses.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Hands-on electrical apprenticeship.
• 2+ years hotel engineering/maintenance experience.

Essential

Skills:

• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Ability to properly use electrical testing equipment.
• Knowledge of Volt/AMP/WATT formulas.
• Ability to safely and properly use hand and power tools.
• Ability to climb ladders and use people lifts.
• Ability to crawl into ceilings and over and under equipment.
• Knowledge of wiring, conduit and controls, P.M. motors and breakers.
• Understanding of high-low voltage systems.
• Ability to work cohesively as a team member.
• Ability to work in and around the public in a positive and professional manner.
