Position: Staffing Coordinator
Location: Lake Worth, FL
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour (based on experience)
Join Our Team as a Staffing Coordinator. Palm Beach Nursing is seeking an experienced and organized Staffing Coordinator to join our team. This essential role is responsible for coordinating nursing schedules, maintaining staffing compliance, supporting payroll functions, and ensuring appropriate staffing levels to provide exceptional resident care. Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contact information for all nursing department employees
- Monitor and document attendance, tardiness, call-offs, and absences
- Report attendance and scheduling concerns to the Director of Nursing in accordance with facility policies
- Coordinate modified-duty assignments with Human Resources and the Director of Nursing
- Assist staff with scheduling requests, timecards, PTO requests, and related documentation
- Create, maintain, and post monthly nursing schedules based on census and staffing needs
- Respond to employee scheduling inquiries and assist with shift coverage needs
- Prepare schedules and materials for new hires prior to orientation
- Maintain records of employee certifications, licenses, and required credentials
- Adjust staffing levels according to census fluctuations while minimizing overtime costs
- Process nursing department payroll and coordinate staffing agency coverage when necessary
- Provide Unit Secretary coverage as needed
- Minimum of 2 years of Staffing Coordinator experience in a healthcare, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing facility setting
- Knowledge of PPD and AHCA staffing requirements
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with scheduling systems, payroll processes, and Microsoft Office applications
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
