Office Administrator/ Coordinator, Bookkeeper/ Accounting Clerk
Position Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt (24-32 Hours/Week)
Reports to: Controller
Duties and Responsibilities
- Posts bills in Quick Books
- Prepares spreadsheets for transfer of funds from Agency account
- Processes final Invoices for timely reimbursement in compliance with contracts
- Scans all documentation
- Oversees A/P filing system
- Tasks related to additional posting and bank activity as needed
- Works with other departments to maintain contract compliance
Skills and Abilities
Candidate is organized and detail oriented with a professional attitude and an ability to prioritize daily work. Quick Books experience required as well as strong focus on accuracy and efficiency. Associate’s degree in accounting or bookkeeping or 5+ years of experience. Must be able to handle various responsibilities, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues.
Strong Excel and Outlook skills.
Compensation
The Cultural Council offers a competitive compensation package with benefits. The hourly rate for this position is $23-27 per hour, depending on qualifications.
