Worship Coordinator

Job Purpose

The goal for the Worship Coordinator will be to contribute and lead our church at their respective campus to Experience God. This role will contribute to and support the central effort of Journey Worship to see lives transformed to live and love like Jesus inside of the ministry stream and for services and worship events.

• Serve as primary worship leader at assigned campus
  • Oversee the care, scheduling, and expansion of the West Palm Beach Campus Worship Dream Team
  • Responsible for weekend readiness (Ableton/stage setup/production collaboration)
  • Manage the organization and supply of worship equipment needed in West Palm Beach Campus in collaboration with Campus Pastor and Worship Director
  • Manage the Green Room and Dream Team spaces for worship ministry at West Palm Beach Campus in collaboration with Campus Pastor and Worship Director
  • Attend weekly West Palm Beach Campus staff meetings as scheduled
• Co-lead worship for Journey Worship hosted events, including Worship Nights, Encounter Nights, Living Room Sessions, and other various special events.
• Oversee central Cultivate Training Process
• Oversee workflows for worship onboarding process and manage follow up process
• Oversee implementation of Cultivate Process into Student Worship Ministry
• Provide assistance with the creation of Ableton sessions as needed
• Manage the scheduling of bands for weekend services and special events for Journey campuses
• Assist in event planning for Community Nights, Worship Nights, Encounter Nights, and all other various special events hosted by the Worship Arts department
• Attend central worship planning and programming meetings

• Assist other Journey departments with worship support
• Assist with management of volunteer training sessions as needed
• Participate in church wide events
• Lead or co-lead a Journey Small Group
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Serve as primary worship leader at West Palm Beach Campus
• Lead the Sunday service experience for West Palm Beach Campus
• Manage all volunteer responsibilities for Sunday Services at West Palm Beach Campus
• Provide Production/Programming assistance as needed
• Lead at various campuses as needed or assigned by Worship Director

• One (1) year experience in worship ministry
• Understanding of audio, video, and lighting systems, equipment, and concepts
• Proficient in Mac operating system
• Familiarity with Pro Presenter, Planning Center, Ableton Live
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
• Relational and team-building skills required

• Spiritually mature: models the lifestyle of a passionate follower of Jesus

• This role is responsible for the supervison of the Worship Coaches and Dream Team members
