- Assists department with assigned projects
- Completes challenging projects and assignments
- Adheres to work hours, policies, procedures, and rules governing staff behavior
- Adheres to policies governing the observation of confidentiality and the handling of confidential information
- Relates and applies the knowledge acquired in the academic setting to the work being performed
- Prepares for and utilizes opportunities of learning
- Consistent and punctual in the submission of all work assignments
- Provides management with periodic progress updates.
- Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Actively enrolled throughout the internship at the College
- Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
- Completion of 30 or more credit hours of college coursework in an aligned degree program
- 18 years of age or older on first day of employment
Knowledge of
- Microsoft Office Professional or similar application
Skilled in
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Verbal and written communications
Ability to
- Demonstrate critical thinking & interpersonal skills
- Work with diverse populations and varying education levels
- Completion of 60 or more credit hours of college coursework in an aligned degree program
- Lift, carry, push, pull, install, or remove objects weighing 20 to 49 pounds
- Reach and grasp objects
- Stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Sit for extended periods of time
- Use of video display terminal
- Use of manual dexterity and fine motor skills
- Identify and distinguish colors and shades of color
- Communicate information orally and in writing
- Receive and understand information through oral and written communication
- Proofread and check documents for accuracy
- Work a fluctuating work schedule
