Job Summary

Responsible for providing tutoring assistance for students within the discipline area of expertise. Duties include assisting students with coursework, learning strategies, and overall academic skills development.

$16.06. Offer amount based on the College's salary schedule guidelines.

• Conduct tutoring sessions with individual or multiple students in person and in a virtual environment.
• Provide constructive feedback and suggestions on student assignments.
• Create an engaging learning environment and enhance student confidence and interest in learning.
• Maintain awareness of current College and department policies and guidelines.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

• Statistics
• Calculus with Analytic Geometry (1, 2, or
  3)
• Trigonometry
• Precalculus
• College Algebra & Intermediate Algebra
• Differential Equations
• Applied Physics
• General Physics 1 & 2
• Mathematical Reasoning in Context 1 & 2

As part of the recruiting process, candidates are required to complete an assessment test.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Some related experience.

• In‑person and remote tutoring experience.

• Reach and grasp objects.
• Use of video display terminal.
• Use of manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
• Communicate information orally and in writing.
• Receive and understand information through oral and written communication.
• Proofread and check documents for accuracy.
• Work a fluctuating work schedule.
