Job Purpose

To join a team dedicated to a relentless commitment to student greatness. As a STEM Teacher, you will develop learning activities and hands‑on material, meet individual student needs, and communicate regularly with parents.

How You Will Impact Education
  • Develop STEM curricula.
  • Plan daily lessons.
  • Adopt a data‑driven attitude toward measuring learner progress.
  • Develop STEM learning activities and hands‑on material for classes.
  • Attend to individual student needs.
  • Demonstrate awareness of different student backgrounds and cultures.
  • Communicate regularly with parents.
  • Provide extra support to students who need it.
  • Monitor student growth to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Use learner data to constantly refine your curriculum.
  • Provide regular feedback to students.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment toward the position and CSUSA’s mission; support the company’s values in academic excellence, operational performance, superior culture, and financial health and growth as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Possess strong time management and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with teachers, students, parents, the community, and administrative staff.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and display courtesy, professionalism, and helpfulness among all stakeholders.
  • Possess excellent communication skills: oral (presentations), written, interpersonal (active listening), negotiating, and influencing.
  • Be consistently punctual, follow instructions, respond to management direction, and solicit feedback to improve performance.
  • Demonstrate proficient experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Student Information System (SIS), and email communications.
  • Seek ways to improve and promote quality, demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Strive to implement best practices and positive character education consistently.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA) from an accredited college or university or equivalent.
  • Possession of valid teaching certification as appropriate.
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years successful teaching experience (may include student‑teaching internship).
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Command of grades/subject‑specific content and theoretical knowledge of learning theory, including motivation, reinforcement, evaluation, and feedback techniques.
  • Understanding of and commitment to company values.
  • Successful criminal and employment background check.
  • Effective instructional delivery techniques and excellent communication skills.
  • Adherence to the requirements of the Code of Ethics for the Education Profession.
  • Alternatives to the above requirements that CSUSA finds appropriate and acceptable.
  • May perform other duties assigned.
Work Environment

Usual office working conditions.

Physical Demands

Light work:
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 10 pounds of force as frequently as needed to move objects.

FLSA Overtime Category

Job is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
