Relationship Banker

Acquire, manage, and grow a portfolio of consumer and business customer relationships
Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer goals and deliver tailored banking and credit strategies
Drive retention and balanced growth across deposits, lending, and investments
Partner with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking professionals to deliver integrated solutions
Coordinate warm introductions and convert qualified opportunities into closed outcomes
Educate customers on self-service and mobile banking options to promote digital adoption
Resolve account inquiries and service requests within authorized limits
Document actions and establish follow-up plans
Demonstrate risk excellence through accurate documentation, sound judgment, timely escalation, and policy adherence
Serve as the primary point of contact for everyday banking needs, products, and services through appointments, lobby engagement, and proactive outreach
Support customers' financial goals through planning, digital engagement, and customized deposit, credit, and investment solutions
Transition from the temporary Relationship Banker LP role to Relationship Banker (SAFE) after successfully completing licensing and SAFE requirements

• 2+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
• 1+ year assessing and meeting customer needs or helping with issue resolution
• 1+ year building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
• Ability to work a schedule that includes most Saturdays
• FINRA Series 6 and Series 63, or FINRA-recognized equivalents, required to be active or completed within a designated timeframe
• Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam required for FINRA qualification exams earned after September 30, 2018
• FINRA Series 65, or equivalent, required within a specified period for applicable states including Texas
• State Insurance license(s) required to be active or completed within a designated timeframe
• Required FINRA licenses must be obtained and maintained for continued employment
• Enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
• SAFE registration required at the time of employment
• Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies regarding financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background
• Ability to meet applicable risk, compliance, policy, and regulatory requirements
• This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
• Desired: financial services experience, including consumer, home lending, business banking, or investments
• Desired: FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations completed sufficiently to qualify for immediate FINRA registration
