Role Description This on-site OBGYN ARDMS Bilingual Spanish/English Sonographer role is based in Lake Worth, FL and Boynton Beach, Florida and is structured as a permanent weekly contract position. The sonographer will perform obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations. Typical responsibilities include preparing patients for exams, explaining procedures in both Spanish and English, acquiring and documenting high-quality images, and ensuring accurate measurements and reports for physician review.

The role also involves maintaining equipment, following clinical protocols, adhering to safety and privacy regulations, and supporting a smooth patient flow throughout the day. Contracted hours will be scheduled consistently each week, requiring reliability, strong communication skills, and a professional presence in the clinical environment. Monday 9-1 pm at the Boynton Beach location and Fridays 1-5 pm at their Lake Worth location.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) or equivalent credential, with at least 2+ years of recent clinical ultrasound experience.
• Professional experience performing OB/GYN, Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) experience is preferred.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English, with the ability to clearly explain procedures, obtain patient histories, and communicate findings with clinical staff.
• Strong technical skills in ultrasound operation, image acquisition, measurements, and documentation, with attention to detail and adherence to clinical protocols.
• Knowledge of patient safety, infection control, HIPAA/privacy regulations, and best practices for working in an outpatient or clinic-based setting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including empathy, professionalism, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff.
• Ability to manage time effectively, handle a steady patient volume, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Completion of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program; additional credentials or continuing education in women’s health or MFM imaging are beneficial.
