This role is ideal for someone who has existing relationships with local and national funders, knows how to find new, viable grant opportunities, excels at writing compelling grant proposals, and can manage the full lifecycle of grant funding.

This role will be responsible for building and managing a multi-year institutional funding pipeline to support operational growth and capital initiatives, including the launch and stabilization of The IDDeal Place. This position requires a highly organized, proactive professional who can work independently, while also engaging deeply with our mission and community. The Grants Manager will report directly to the Director of Programs and collaborate closely with a small group of internal stakeholders to ensure strong funding outcomes and compliance.

  • Ensure all materials align with The IDDeal Foundation’s voice, values, commitments, and writing standards.

Data, Grants Management & Deadline Management

  • Develop and manage a centralized grants calendar capturing all deadlines to ensure timely submission.
  • Lead the selection, implementation, and ongoing administration of a grants management and tracking software to ensure accurate monitoring and reporting of grant activity.
  • Prepare interim and final grant reports, including outcomes and impact storytelling.

Funder Engagement & Stewardship

  • Follow up on declined proposals to gain insight and strengthen future submissions.
  • Participate in internal meetings, supervisor check-ins, and other duties, as needed.
  • Attend IDDeal Foundation events to better understand programs, members, and impact.
  • Build familiarity with I/DD services and best practices.
