Position Overview

The Registered Nurse – Community Services will provide direct patient care and health assessments for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities at the Flamingo, Lantana, FL site. The position is full‑time, offers varying shifts, and is compensated at $30–$32 an hour with benefits including a 401(k) match, holiday pay, and continuing education support.

• Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement individualized health care plans, and monitor patient conditions.
• Lead clinical practice, serve as a role model, and inspire the team to deliver high‑quality care.
• Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and external agencies to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide clinical oversight, technical support, and staff training to maintain excellence in care.
• Apply critical thinking and clinical judgment to address patients’ biological, physical, and behavioral needs.

• Accredited RN degree and current state RN license.
• Valid CPR/First Aid certification.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience.
• Proficient in clinical assessment, critical thinking, communication, teamwork, and creative problem solving.
• Demonstrated reliability, responsibility, compassion, empathy, and flexibility.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
