PTR Retail Sales Representative

We are excited to add a National Used Truck Sales Specialist to our Fort Wayne team. This is a high‑impact, career‑building opportunity for a driven sales professional who thrives on ownership, enjoys proactive outreach, and is motivated by uncapped earning potential.

In this role, you will build and manage your own national book of business
, selling used light‑ and medium‑duty trucks across consumer, business, and dealer channels. You’ll own the full sales cycle—from initial outreach and relationship development through negotiation and close—supported by a large, fast‑turning fleet and a well‑established brand.

While inbound opportunities exist, this role is fundamentally about creating opportunity
. Success is driven by disciplined prospecting, consistent outbound activity, and long‑term relationship building. To support you during onboarding and ramp‑up, we provide a commission guarantee during the first six months
, along with a competitive base salary—so you can focus on building momentum with confidence.

Role Overview
  • Territory: Nationwide (United States); minimal travel (~10%)

  • Product: Used light‑ and medium‑duty trucks from a large, rotating fleet

  • Location: Onsite in Fort Wayne, IN | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

  • Compensation: Competitive base salary + uncapped commission (OTE $120K+)

  • Ramp Support: Commission guarantee during initial ramp‑up period

This is an inside‑focused, high‑activity sales role ideal for professionals who enjoy proactive outreach, relationship management, and structured pipeline execution through calls, emails, and follow‑ups.

What We're Looking For

We’re seeking a sales professional who takes ownership of their results and approaches their pipeline with discipline and accountability.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of dealership sales experience, ideally with light‑ or medium‑duty trucks

  • Demonstrated success in B2B and fleet equipment sales

  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce or a comparable CRM, including activity tracking and forecasting

  • Excellent remote negotiation and closing skills

  • Highly self‑motivated, organized, and comfortable working autonomously in a performance‑driven environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Existing national or multi‑state customer relationships
