Job Description Commercial HVAC Lead Technician Premium Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Management Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Commercial HVAC Technician to join our in-house facility management team. Unlike typical service companies, you will be dedicated to a high-end portfolio of commercial real estate assets. You will be the primary expert responsible for the performance, maintenance, and longevity of complex environmental systems across our properties.
Role Details- Location: Lake Worth, Florida
- Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent
- Certification: EPA Universal Required
- Comprehensive Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of commercial systems, including Rooftop Units (RTUs), Chillers, Boilers, VAV boxes, and Heat Pumps.
- System Installation: Lead small to mid-sized equipment replacements and retrofits.
- Building Automation: Monitor and adjust Building Automation Systems (BAS) to ensure optimal energy efficiency and tenant comfort.
- Emergency Response: Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule to address critical equipment failures and maintain property safety.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work meets local building codes and OSHA safety standards.
- Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of refrigerant usage in compliance with EPA regulations.
- Certification: Valid EPA Universal Certification is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in commercial HVAC service and repair.
- Technical
Skills:
Proficient in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. - Troubleshooting: Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in varying weather conditions or confined spaces.
- Professionalism: Professional demeanor with the ability to interact effectively with commercial tenants and property managers.
- Driving: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
On-Call Obligations: This position requires a full-time commitment including a mandatory rotating on-call schedule. Candidates must be reachable and able to respond to emergency calls within [Insert Time, e.g., 60 minutes].
