Position Description
Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Lake Worth, FL offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.
Pay & Schedule- Hourly Pay: $18.97 per hour
- Schedule:
7:00 am to 3:30 pm;
Monday through Friday
Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles at Ryder support distribution across the US.
Products handled include inbound items such as bolts, cables, reels, wires, anchors, etc. Equipment used: stand‑up and sit‑down forklifts and pallet jacks.

- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Minimum two years of related warehouse and powered industrial lift experience
- Clean driving record; valid driver's license; personal vehicle and travel within the area 25–50% of the day
- Strong technical aptitude:
Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, scanners, WMS system - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Ability to input data into a computer system
- Ability to read, do basic math, and understand written and verbal instructions in English
- Work indoors and outdoors
- Ability to work overtime as assigned
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Read, interpret, and apply WMS order instructions
- Recognize and correct potential process errors before actions adversely affect the customer
- Identify damaged product and take appropriate action
- Pull orders accurately as assigned
- Stage orders by carrier location and verify number of pallets and stage location
- Prepare receiving, storage and shipping documentation, retaining product accountability throughout the process
- Follow location and work center safety and security policies and procedures
- Train others in warehouse functions, including safe operation of powered industrial lift equipment, housekeeping duties, and other duties as assigned
- Operate forklift equipment or other warehouse machinery
