Part Returns​/Shipping Coordinator

Job Summary

The Part Returns/Shipping Coordinator is responsible for the management of inbound and outbound shipping logistics for the Lake Zurich Depot. Manage product complaint sample returns and spare part warranty returns. Support depot inventory management, Depot/Product Management projects, and other tasks as assigned.

Salary Range: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour based on experience. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Will manage all inbound receipts, decontamination of equipment and outbound shipments from the Depot Service Facility.

Manage the product complaint sample box shipment process (assemble complaint supplies and boxes, ship boxes to customer, track and document the shipment status through the various legs of the journey until delivered).

Manages the spare part warranty return process (validate warranty eligibility, coordinate returns, create Fed Ex labels and required documentation, track and document the return shipment status until delivered).

The Coordinator will create and distribute monthly status reports on return shipments. Manage inventory of product complaint sample boxes and supplies.

Support physical inventory audits of Depot inventory. Support Depot & Product Management projects, such as testing spare parts, process development and improvement activities, and other tasks as assigned.

Will update SAP Tasks appropriately.

• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong computer skills with an emphasis on Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and ensure compliance with regulations and standard operating procedures
• Ability understand and follow technical documentation
• Ability to work with cross functional teams and to interact effectively with peers, management, and customers
• Self-starter able to successfully work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift 35 lbs
• General handheld tool knowledge
• Experience in an FDA regulated work environment is a plus
• SAP experience is a plus
• Working knowledge of DHL, FEDEX, and UPS automated tracking systems is a plus
