Job Summary
The Sr Manager, Contract Operations leads contract operations for daily business functions, including extensive involvement in Capital and Software contracting, service plan management (bids, awards, contract eligibility, pricing, and fee/rebate programs for all commercial customers). The role practices proactive management, drives collaboration, and leads a positive team. This hybrid position requires 3 days onsite at Lake Zurich, IL.
Salary Range: $135,000 - $160,000 per year. Position is eligible to participate in a bonus plan with a target of 14% of the base salary.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all daily contract operations, including Capital and Software contracting and service plan management.
- Own day‑to‑day contract operations for Capital Equipment (and associated software/service plans), including pricing configuration, eligibility verification, and activation in enterprise systems.
- Manage bids/RFIs/RFPs in close collaboration with Commercial teams.
- Support CMCA Senior Management with departmental strategies, SOP development, process improvements, and ad‑hoc project management.
- Act as the primary liaison across cross‑functional teams (Field Sales, National Accounts, Distribution Relations, Marketing, Finance, IT, Customer Service, Implementation/Service, Commercial Analysis, and Commercial Excellence) to ensure seamless contract execution.
- Prepare for and support internal/external quality and supplier audits in coordination with Finance.
- Ensure accurate setup and maintenance of customer‑specific pricing in the company ERP for assigned accounts; oversee lease/financing order creation and related billing plans as required.
- Partner with Distribution Relations to ensure seamless order fulfillment and correct contract price execution across channels, resolving pricing and membership eligibility issues.
- Develop and deliver recurring operational reports and KPI’s (e.g., capital equipment reporting, contract pipeline, turnaround time, price‑execution accuracy, rebates/fees) and executive readouts; identify trends and root causes to drive process improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement of Contract Marketing processes to enhance operational efficiency and integrity.
- Manage projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure processes are compliant with internal audit requirements and quality systems.
- Implement process standardization and automation to reduce manual tasks, improve cycle time and enhance service quality.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 10+ years related experience (Healthcare or related industry i.e., Med Tech, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical preferred).
- Supervisory experience a plus.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills to resolve complex issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical capabilities with effective use of data tools and techniques.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, resiliency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in high‑pressure environments.
- Experience building strong working relationships with internal departments and external customers.
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Conflict resolution skills with a focus on fostering collaboration and maintaining a positive team dynamic.
- Time‑management skills to prioritize and execute multiple complex projects.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other database/ERP concepts (e.g., SAP, ).
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast‑paced dynamic environment.
- Strong collaboration skills with all employees and external contacts, maintaining a positive, service‑oriented attitude.
- High integrity and good judgment, with the ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends to meet business/customer needs.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned to meet overall business needs.
