Sr. Analyst, Commercial Insights and Analytics

Job Summary

The Commercial Insights and Analytics Sr. Analyst serves as a key liaison between Finance and Commercial teams, delivering actionable insights that drive profitable growth and informed decision-making. This hybrid role is based in Lake Zurich, Illinois, with on-site work required three days per week. Compensation includes a base salary of $85,000 – $105,000 per year, with potential bonus up to 6% of base and comprehensive benefits.

• Contribute to financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning processes ensuring insights are translated into measurable outcomes.
• Partner with Finance and Supply Chain to enhance forecast accuracy and demand planning, aligning with financial and operational targets.
• Communicate key findings, financial trends, and strategic recommendations to senior management and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to evaluate new product launches, promotional investments, and commercial performance.
• Evaluate pricing strategies, assess the financial impact of commercial decisions, and provide data‑driven guidance to optimize margin and revenue outcomes.
• Review and monitor gross‑to‑net calculations in the forecasting process.
• Develop and manage financial and commercial reporting templates that enable data‑driven decisions across sales, marketing, and operations.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of all commercial and financial reports and analytical outputs.
• Design and execute complex financial models and scenario analyses to support pricing, investment decisions, and business cases across multiple functional areas.
• Provide actionable recommendations based on comparative and cost‑benefit analyses.
• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives; develop tools and dashboards that enhance business visibility and efficiency.
• Leverage advanced analytics platforms such as SAP, SAC, TM1, Qlik, and other BI tools to extract, analyze, and visualize data for decision‑making.

• Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of related experience (Finance, Pricing, Marketing, etc.).
• Strong analytical thinking, ability to execute to a goal, influence, problem‑solve, and drive change in a matrixed global environment.
• Demonstrated independence, self‑drive, and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, oral and written.
• Strategic and innovative thinking with a desire for learning.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment and manage multiple complex projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP, Qlik, and TM1.
• Ability to travel, including international travel.
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends as needed.
