The Sr. Data Analyst focuses on designing and implementing data-driven solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the Customer Financial Services (CFS) department. Responsibilities include developing metrics, KPIs, and dashboards using tools like Power BI, Power Query, and Snowflake to provide actionable insights for senior leadership. The position emphasizes establishing and maintaining data governance standards to ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across processes.

Collaboration with cross‑functional teams such as Chargeback, Credit & Collections, Customer Master, and Rebate groups is essential to deliver meaningful reports and support strategic initiatives. Additionally, the role drives alignment with Commercial Excellence to maintain customer data quality and reporting best practices.

• Design and build metrics & reporting for the CFS department using Power Query, Power BI, Access, Excel, etc.
• Track KPIs across the CFS department and provide feedback & insight to the Senior Director.
• Build and maintain dashboards that provide management level insight and enable identification of actionable items.
• Develop reporting models that reduce time spent analyzing and building, improve efficiency, and ensure data accuracy.
• Identify trends and anomalies to understand the source of data inaccuracies; assist value mapping and process improvement.
• Perform root‑cause analysis on internal and external data to answer business questions and identify improvement opportunities.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Assist in establishing data governance standards, ensuring data quality and integrity, and optimizing processes for maintaining customer information.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data requirements, establish data quality metrics, and implement data management best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, mathematics, computer science, or equivalent work experience.
• 5–8 years of experience in finance, chargeback, credit & collections, master data, or rebate.
• Expertise in Excel, Power Query, Access.
• Working SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases and query authoring (SQL).
• Comfortable learning and utilizing new tools (Python, Power BI, Qlik, etc.).
• Knowledge of data governance.
• Knowledgeable of financial statements, chargebacks, rebates, and Model N.
• Chargeback & rebate background in the pharmaceutical industry desired.
• Ability to work in a complex and changing environment with minimal supervision, make independent decisions, and work within a team environment.
• Ability to initiate complex analysis, manage details, and provide a strategic perspective.
