CNC Setup & Production Support
- Set up CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers according to setup instructions and CNC programs.
- Load tooling, set tool and work offsets, verify programs, and complete first-piece inspections to confirm accuracy.
- Troubleshoot setup issues, make minor program or offset adjustments, and ensure a smooth transition into production.
- Communicate setup details, inspection checkpoints, and operational notes to CNC Operators.
Quality & Process Control
- Review blueprints, job packets, and work instructions to confirm requirements before and during setup.
- Document setup changes, tooling adjustments, and process improvements in the ERP system.
Team & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in required training, shift meetings, and improvement initiatives.
- Support company goals related to safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Provide feedback to Programming, Engineering, and Leadership to support process optimization.
- 2+ years of CNC setup experience preferred (vertical or horizontal machining centers).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions.
- Experience with CNC controls and ability to make program or offset adjustments.
- Basic computer skills; ERP experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed.

A reasonable estimate of the hourly pay range for this role is $18- $22 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
