Job Summary

Smalley is currently hiring a Forklift Operator!

Responsibilities:

• Operates material handling equipment and transports materials
• Pulls and returns samples to Rolling Mill department based on workload
• Completes paperwork accurately with attention to detail
• Responsible for following all applicable departmental policies and procedures
• Operates stand-up forklift, pick/put away materials and inventory as required by company specifications and requirements
• Assists with rewinding of loose/tangled coils

Requirements:

• Authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Pass required exam of basic math and English

A reasonable estimate of the hourly rate is $19.00-$21.00 per hour USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. This role is bonus/and or incentive eligible.
