Job Description
Production Welder
The Production Welder performs MIG and TIG welding on metal products while ensuring work meets drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong production welding experience, can read blueprints and welding symbols, and works independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a focus on safety and quality.
Requirements of the Production Welder
- AWS Certification required
- 4+ years of production welding experience
- Proficient in MIG and TIG welding
- Able to read blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols
- Experience using precision measuring tools
- Experience with stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel preferred
- Experience with robotic welding, sheet metal fabrication, or laser welding preferred
Responsibilities of the Production Welder
- Perform MIG, TIG, and other welding operations according to drawings and specifications
- Set up and operate welding equipment
- Perform basic fitting, assembly, and grinding
- Inspect completed assemblies and identify defects or quality issues
- Maintain production and quality standards
- Work with team members to resolve production and quality concerns
- Support continuous improvement and process standardization
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety policies
- Assist with training other employees as needed
- Stop production when safety or quality risks are identified and communicate concerns to management
1st and 2nd shift available, DIRECT HIRE
Pay is $30.00 - $35.00 hourly, based on experience
