We have an opening for a Quality Technician in our Quality Department! This individual will support and execute activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products.
Responsibilities- Verifies work packages and completed work to ensure incorporation of required precise measurements and tests, as well as the proper controls
- Processes requests for regulatory issues including Conflict Minerals, REACH, and RoHS
- Implements the plans required to carry out quality test projects as assigned
- Assists Quality Engineers in processing standard 8D corrective action as well as preventative action, including issuance of in-house rejections and corrective action reports
- Supports customer complaints process, investigations, and customer responses
- Initiates material review, disposition, annual and customer required over-checks
- Assists Quality Engineers in review of customer specification requirements & documentation for PPAP’s
- Reviews supplier purchase orders
- Conducts authorization to ship for manual and electronic submission/approval activities for production order processes
- Associates degree or equivalent technical education related to quality control; or two to four years related quality experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience Automotive, aerospace, medical production experience in quality preferred
- Experience using internet to access customer portals
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis
A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $46,000 - $56,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. This role is bonus/and or incentive eligible.
