The Village of Lake Zurich, Illinois, is hiring a Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair gas, diesel, and electric municipal trucks, heavy equipment, and public safety vehicles.
You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and install specialized emergency equipment; a CDL with airbrake and tanker endorsement is required within 6 months.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 4–5 years in a mechanic role, and be able to work in a team.
