Echo is looking for Summer Student Warehouse Picker to join our team this Summer. The warehouse order picker's is responsible for accurately picking orders with the use of an RF device, securely packaging them, and shipping packages in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity.
1st Shift M-F 7:00am-3:30pm!
$17/HR
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Efficiently pick customers' orders for shipment utilizing RF devices ensuring that the correct number and type of product is picked.
- Mark and label all orders as required.
- Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
- Perform various other duties and assignments as requested by management to assist the operation and overall functioning of the department and company.
- Experience working in a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and effectively as a team member, assisting supervisor and other employees in a positive and proactive manner.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job - capable of maneuvering and lifting 50 lbs. and/or occasionally maneuvering up to 75 lbs., standing and walking for long periods of time, and ability to often stoop, kneel or crouch.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work overtime and Saturdays during peak selling times.
- Prior experience with RF devices is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and understand customer orders and other paperwork.
- Computer skills a plus.
