Our team is responsible for systems engineering leadership, planning, analysis, and requirements development, supporting aircraft system development, shipboard integration efforts, and innovative enabling technologies.

This role emphasizes ensuring systems meet all performance, safety, and compatibility requirements across the full system lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and contribute to technical guidance, program documentation, and decision support materials, including white papers, technical assessments, and decision memoranda.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders—engineering, logistics, manufacturing, and program leadership—to resolve complex, multi‑objective technical challenges.
  • Participate in core program activities such as risk and configuration management, trade studies, technical reviews, and modeling and simulation efforts.
  • Support ACAT I programs across all phases of the acquisition lifecycle.
  • Perform system architecture development, component selection, integration planning, and technical risk analysis.
  • Develop, implement, and track risk mitigation strategies to maintain program stability and performance.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain technical artifacts including ECPs, engineering reports, drawings, white papers, and program briefings.
  • Document technical solutions with consideration for cost, schedule, and performance constraints.
  • Oversee system and subsystem integration, testing, and evaluation activities.
  • Conduct performance verification, validation, and analysis to confirm operational requirements are met.
  • Author and review detailed technical documentation such as specifications, test plans, and engineering analyses.
  • Coordinate and interface with stakeholders across program offices, fleet users, contractors, and industry partners.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to senior leadership and non‑technical decision‑makers.
  • Foster collaboration across engineering, logistics, test, and acquisition organizations.
  • Provide regular status updates, technical briefings, and progress reports to program management and key stakeholders.
