Electrical Engineer III – Aircraft
Ready to Power the Future of Military Aviation? We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with 8–10 years of experience in aviation, specialized in avionics integration for military aircraft such as the UH-60, AH-64, or similar platforms. The role is based in Lakehurst, NJ and focuses on advancing mission‑ready systems for iconic military aircraft.
Essential Functions- Research and analyze data—including customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals—to determine feasibility of design or application.
- Design electrical systems or subsystems for aircraft integration, research, or maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate, troubleshoot, and approve installation activities as inspection services to ensure product and system conformance with engineering design and specifications.
- Interface and communicate with other Electrical, Mechanical and EMI/EMC Engineers, Program Managers, Quality Assurance Manager, Configuration Manager, Engineering Manager, and others as required for design and integration on all assigned project requirements.
- Interface and communicate with the client in coordination with project leaders and management.
- Provide support for preparation of electrical related drawings and specifications in the engineering data CAD package that include wiring diagrams, cable harnesses, cable routing and electrical assemblies.
- Research and specify required electrical component selection, wire or coaxial cable, connectors, circuit breakers, relays, component specifications, and other related parts or assemblies required.
- Prepare briefing materials and present to the client for Kickoff Meeting, PDR, CDR, IPR’s and miscellaneous briefings as required.
- Write reports and test plans, including air‑worthiness documentation reports that cover Electrical Load and Power Source Capacity and Analysis, System Safety Assessment, and others as required.
- Provide guidance to avionic technicians, draftsmen, technical writers, production personnel, or other support personnel as needed on assigned projects.
Supervisory responsibilities may be required at Level III.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities- Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 8 to 10 years of job‑related experience.
- B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college.
- Strong communication and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.
- Ability to maintain a Security Clearance.
- Bachelor’s in engineering and a Level 3 documented experience for 8–10 years of experience.
- Good communication and analytical skills.

- Position may require travel.
- Ability to maintain a Security Clearance.
