Job Description

CACI has an immediate opportunity for an Aerospace Engineering SME. In this role, experience with De Havilland Canada DHC-8 and C-20 Gulfstream is required. This is a Part‑Time On‑Call position. CACI International is partnering with U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) and C5

ISR Center Flight Activity (CFA) in a four‑year opportunity to support CFA’s mission. The role involves state‑of‑the‑art research, development, and engineering for aviation‑related projects supporting DoD and warfighters.

Responsibilities
  • Bring knowledge, leadership, and expertise to work alongside thought leaders supporting the development and test of cutting‑edge Aerial ISR technologies to fixed‑wing aviators with Army and industry partners.
  • Plan, develop, and implement new programs and initiatives for the Army.
  • Refine current processes and procedures aligning operation with DCMA 8210.1C, AS9100, and FAA FAR requirements and program execution and mission assurance requirements.
  • Possess a broad understanding of all aspects of aviation, including maintenance and operation functions.
Qualifications
  • Graduate degree and twelve (12) years of relevant experience; additional years of direct experience in aviation programs supporting defense contracts under DCMA INST 8210.1/AR 95‑20 may substitute for a degree.
  • Active clearance at Secret with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
  • Significant and verifiable experience maintaining and/or returning aircraft to service and leading teams and projects.
  • In‑depth knowledge of DCMA 8210.1C and AS9100/AS9110 requirements.
  • Significant and verifiable experience with advanced ISR sensor technologies.
  • Significant and verifiable experience developing concepts of operation and documentation.
  • Ability to create and maintain aviation program manuals, forms, and records.
  • U.S. citizen.
  • Willing and able to travel to CONUS and OCONUS; OCONUS travel may include hardship and hazardous locations.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain credentials to access military installations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Pay Range

$105,100 – 231,100 USD
