Electrical Engineer Job Lakehurst area,New Jersey USA,Engineering

You will serve as an Electrical Engineer in the NAWCAD SE & ALRE Group of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as:

Leading the design, development, integration, and analysis of complex electrical systems, power distribution architectures, electrical circuits, sensors, or electronic components for major defense acquisition programs (e.g., ACAT I) or similarly complex platforms, using detailed requirements and technical specifications to ensure system performance, interoperability, and mission effectiveness.

Developing, coordinating, reviewing, and supporting comprehensive electrical engineering test plans - such as hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL), environmental qualification, or electromagnetic interference/electromagnetic compatibility (EMI/EMC) testing - to validate system performance against stringent technical specifications and program requirements.

Performing advanced engineering troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and failure reporting to resolve complex electrical anomalies, hardware failures, circuit-level issues, sensor integration problems, or system interface deficiencies during prototype development, production, or field sustainment.

Serving as a technical authority for electrical engineering matters by reviewing and approving Technical Data Packages (TDPs), providing oversight of contractor engineering efforts, and ensuring strict compliance with military standards (MIL-STD), detailed requirements, and industry best practices.

Developing technical presentations, briefing senior leadership and other stakeholders, coordinating with external agencies, contractors, and cross-functional teams, and applying strong communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills to influence decisions, resolve issues, and support program objectives.
