Logistic Management Specialist Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• You will lead life-cycle Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) planning, management, and execution for aviation Support Equipment (SE).
• You will advise on product and logistics matters, business planning, metrics management, and implementation strategies to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals.
• You will identify/analyze risks, develop solutions, and resolve complex ILS problems by developing new approaches, policies, and/or procedures.
• You will conduct meetings and conferences to exchange information, discuss problems, explain policy, review program status, justify requirements, and make technical decisions and recommendations.
• You will identify specific requirements for funding and manpower, establish priorities, direct workload, provide contractor oversight and develop/mentor junior logisticians.

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

• This is a bargaining unit position.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition

  and category assigned to the position is required within established category time frames.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties:
