Position: LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST with Security Clearance
Duties
* You will ensure the compliance of functional and supporting organizations with milestones, performance criteria and goals in executing portions of ILS plans for assigned major, complex equipment/systems.
* You will implement strategies to overcome obstacles to program execution and accomplishment.
* You will monitor supported equipment/systems operations, performance and condition to determine and assess operational readiness. Requirements Conditions of employment

* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as:
* Managing, monitoring, and coordinating the execution of integrated logistics support plans for aviation support equipment or aircraft launch and recovery systems.
* Leading the development of integrated logistics support plans, encompassing the definition of scope, milestones, and performance criteria for aviation support equipment or aircraft launch and recovery system.
* Managing life-cycle logistics for aviation support equipment or aircraft launch and recovery systems from initial concept design through field deployment and system disposal.
* Coordinating and monitoring annual workload budget requirements and resource allocations for aviation support equipment or aircraft launch and recovery systems. Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site:
