* The Opportunity:

The successful candidate will collaborate with program office, engineers, and developers to ensure system performance meets system specifications and user requirements, conduct developmental test flights on new or modified fixed wing aircraft and upgraded systems to evaluate performance, operational suitability, and safety, comply with all flight regulations, rules, and standards in accordance with (IAW) DCMA INST 8210.1D, AR 95-1, and applicable Aircrew Training Manuals.

The successful candidate may perform maintenance test flights (MTFs) on aircraft which have undergone maintenance, modification, or overhaul. Responsibilities:
You will serve as an ISR pilot supporting CACI operations while upholding the highest standards of aviator skill, safety, professionalism, and customer focus. Operate and support missions in aircraft including the DHC-6, DHC-8, and BE-300, with preference given to candidates holding a G1159 (Gulfstream G-II/G-III) type rating. Additionally, in support of C5

ISR Center activities, the contractor will be required to:
* Ensure safe, effective, and efficient flight operations, including identifying aircraft maintenance discrepancies and coordinating corrective actions.

* Complete and document all safety-of-flight records in accordance with applicable industry and FAA standards.

* Conduct thorough pre-flight planning and aircraft inspections, and coordinate closely with Airborne Sensor Operators (ASOs) and Mission Commanders responsible for onboard sensor systems and mission execution.

* Continuously monitor airspace, weather conditions, radio communications, mission flight boundaries, surrounding air traffic, and aircraft systems.

* Coordinate flight operations with Fixed Base Operators, military range control, Air Traffic Control (ATC) facilities (military and civilian), Primary Mission Equipment (PME) operators, Mission Commanders, and Mission Coordination Services.

* Operate modified Government-Owned, Contractor-Operated aircraft in compliance with commercial, U.S. Government, and host nation regulations, as well as program policies and procedures; conduct day and night operations under VMC and IMC while maintaining night currency and instrument proficiency.

* Perform additional duties as directed by the Government.

* Maintain a strong emphasis on crew safety and professional customer engagement.

Qualifications:

Required:

* 4,500 hours of total time, 2,000 hours of PIC time, and 1,000 hours of multi-engine turbine time.

* Experience operating aircraft with a MTOW of 12,500 pounds or more.

* DHC-6(UV-18A), DHC-8(RO-6A), BE-300(MC-12W) type ratings, and a G1159 Gulfstream G-II/G-III(C-20E) type rating preferred.

* Must possess a current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.

* Must possess a current FAA Commercial Pilot or Airline Transportation Pilot license.

* Must possess an FCC Commercial Radio Operator License.

* Must possess an active Secret security clearance/TS preferred.

* Must be a U.S. citizen.

* Must pass a post-offer, pre-hire, medical assessment. Desired:
* Former US military or government pilot.

* US military trained Fixed Wing Instructor Pilot, Maintenance Pilot, or Instrument Examiner.

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and seven to nine years of related experience.
